Terms of Service

The short version: Tabzoid is a free hobby project for tab collectors. Use it kindly, don't abuse or break it, and understand it's provided "as is" with no guarantees. Be cool and we'll all have a good time.
These terms ("Terms") cover your use of the Tabzoid website (tabzoid.com) and the Tabzoid Discord bot (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
The Services
Tabzoid is an independent, non-commercial project: a compendium for can-tab collectors, plus a Discord bot that adds tab-related features to servers. The Services are free, offered as a hobby, and may change, pause, or disappear at any time.
Who can use them
To use the Discord bot you must meet Discord's minimum age requirement (at least 13, or older where local law requires) and follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You're responsible for what you do on your own Discord account and server.
To create a Tabzoid account you must be at least 13 years old (or older where your local law requires). Accounts aren't intended for children under 13.
Your account
Some features — building a personal collection, uploading tab photos, or submitting to the archive — need a free account. When you have one:
- keep your login details secure; you're responsible for activity under your account;
- give accurate information and keep your profile reasonably current;
- use one account per person, and don't share or transfer it.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which removes your profile, personal collection, and uploaded photos. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms.
Acceptable use
When using the Services, please don't:
- abuse, spam, overload, or attempt to disrupt or break the bot or website;
- try to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the Services;
- use the Services to harass others or to post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content;
- upload photos or content you don't own or don't have permission to share;
- impersonate anyone, or pick a username or profile meant to deceive;
- share your account or try to access someone else's;
- misrepresent the bot as your own or remove its attribution.
We may rate-limit, restrict, or block use that breaks these rules — or simply because the project needs it.
Your content & submissions
Your profile — things like your username, display name, bio, avatar, and any links you add — is public, and anyone can view it. Your personal collection stays private to you unless you choose to submit items to the archive.
If you submit a tab (a photo and any details), or upload images to your profile or collection, you confirm you have the right to share them, and you grant Tabzoid a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use submitted content as part of the archive and related materials. Submissions are reviewed before they're published, and we may decline, edit, or later remove anything that doesn't fit or breaks these Terms.
You can remove your own content, or ask us to remove a submission, at any time — from your account or by emailing tabzillionaire@gmail.com. Don't submit anything you don't want made public.
Intellectual property
The Tabzoid name, logo, original text, and site design belong to Tabzoid. Brand names, logos, and trademarks shown for catalog and reference purposes belong to their respective owners, and Tabzoid is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
No warranty
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the Services will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. Tab information is shared for enthusiast and reference purposes and may contain mistakes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tabzoid and its maintainers won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services. The Services are free, and you use them at your own risk.
Suspension & termination
You can stop using the Services at any time and remove the bot from your server whenever you like. We may suspend or end access to the Services — for anyone, in whole or in part — at any time, with or without notice, especially in response to misuse.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the project evolves. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the new Terms.
